Spend the night sleeping on the floor at Woolwich Works and find out what it’s like for some of our guests who don’t have a home to go to every night.
Our guests who sleep on the streets rely on us for warmth and hot meals. We are the only place in the borough of Greenwich to offer showers and a laundry service. We also give homeless people free haircuts, clothes and toiletries, and support them with mental health and addiction issues.
Join us for the night and raise money to support our crucial work. Registration is £25 (opening soon).
Please aim to raise £200 per person in sponsorship and donate it via JustGiving. You can create your own JustGiving fundraising page by clicking on the ‘Start fundraising’ button. Why not put together a team with your friends or colleagues?
On the night there will be refreshments, fun activities and a chance to learn more about our work. You’ll have the opportunity to challenge yourself by taking part in a firewalk barefoot over hot coals!
Wrap up warm and bring a sleeping bag. Breakfast will be available to purchase from Woolwich Works in the morning.
After the event you can choose to donate your sleeping bag and rucksack to the Back to Kindness appeal. This annual, national event, in partnership with Ministry of Sound, distributes rucksacks of much-needed supplies including food, toiletries, sleeping bags and more to homeless people.
Woolwich Works is a short walk from Woolwich station on the Elizabeth line.

Terms and conditions
- Participants must be over 18
- The £25 registration fee is non-refundable unless we have to cancel or reschedule the event
- You must be fit and healthy to take part in the Big Sleep Out
- You are participating in the Big Sleep Out at your own risk
- You will not be able to charge phones and other devices at the event. Please bring a power bank if needed
- You will not be able to leave the event between 11pm and 6am
